ipod!

My wife yesterday got iPod Nano 4Gb as a present to birthday. Yesterday, i had played with it, and it looks and fill very good! I had installed iTunes7, and it synchronize all podcasts, downloaded by Attensa. It downloaded music together with albums covers, and display it on iPod's screen.
Menu is very intuitive, and easy to use. I had compared it with my iriver h10, and iriver looks not very well in this comparision.
Main task, for that i (and my wife) use player - listening of podcasts of German radiostations, and iriver can't return to windows media player information about played tracks, so i need to listen already listened tracks :-( But iTunes + iPod easy solve this problem! Now i want iPod for me ;-)

During weekend, i had read second version of IBM's Global Innovation Outlook report. It's very interesting reading, about possible future trends in diffrent areas of business & life. I highly recommend to read it to all interested in overview of future trends.

Attensa for Outlook - new version

Attensa had released a new version of their very good RSS reader -- Attensa for Outlook 2.0. Now it's free for use, you can pay only for support ;-)
I had installed it on my home computer to download news feed & enclosures from German news sites - my wife will have iPod Nano at the start of the next week, so i prepare my computer for integration with iPod.

Boost Book

After 4 month of reading (and using a lots of Boost libraries) i had finished reading of "Beyond the C++ Standard Library: An Introduction to the Boost" book. Very good reading!

New project

Now i close to start development of new version of our web-filtering product - WebBoss (SKVT), version 2. I got latest requirements, and now prepare project plan for it
We have time until December of this year, so this is must be quick project!
I also hired two new developers - one for C++, and second - for JavaScript, so i hope, that we will programm quickly ;-)

I'm back from vacation. Today was first day at work. Too hard after vacation ;-)
During vacation i finished reading of W.R. Stevens's "TCP/IP Illustrated, vol.1" - good reading for vacation to hold brain in normal mode :-)

I'm currenlty on vacation at Sochi. Warm Black Sea, wine, kebab, etc. ;-)
Re-reading "TCP/IP Illustrated, vol. 1" (in Russian), and think where i can take other two volumes (they are only in English).
Vacation is good time to think about future projects - nobody disturb me, as in work time ;-)
